APPEAL to PRAVOSLAVLJE PRESS, Serbian Orthodox Church

[ Please excuse my unsufficient English ]

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Jesus Christ,

due I believe
   THE Love of God is indivisible for ALL people in this world
   THE gospel (cheerful message) of Old and New Testament
       is to help ALL suffering people
I support your struggle against violations of Human Rights now happening
in Kosov@ against Serbians and other Non-Albanians just as I did in the
past, when the Human Rights of Albanians were violated,
and I publish your news on my websites.

BUT in recient news I feel many going wrong and to be Propaganda
   WITHOUT Love to ALL people
   WITHOUT considering the Human Rights of ALL human beings

Two examples given:

FIRST
In latest english news (August 28) Bishop of Hvosno Atanasije wrote:

  "While the bloody atrocities are being executed on the Serbs in
  Kosovo and Metohia, the Albanians demonstrated yesterday in the
  streets of Pristina asking that their country-fellows, who have been
  legitimately taken into the prisons of the official state of
  Yugoslavia due to the crimes they had executed on the Serbs,
  should be set free."

I think the word "legitimately" is a Very Bad Mistake !
You should know, that serbian regime frequently is not considering the
laws by his own state if it takes and are holding in prison it's "own
citizens" (see many Human Rights reports about this abuse).

SECOND
In writing "THE Albanians", "THE Albanian extremists" etc. there is in
my opinion saw of hate: not all Albanians are worse, not all Albanians
are criminals, not all Albanians are extremists or terrorists - or do
you want a spelling in same way for Serbians ? - like this ? : THE
Serbians are murderers, THE Serbians are looters, THE Serbians are
raping ... etc. ?

I beg you: let the THE in most cases away !
Just as not all Serbians are angels, Albanians are not too. But there
are - and I thanks God for them - many people in each ethnicity, who try
to do well. THESE people needs support - but lumping them together with
criminal elements does not good.

   Bless them which persecute you:
   bless, and curse not.
   [Be] of the same mind one toward another.
   If it be possible, as much as lieth in you,
   live peaceably with all men.
   Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves,
   but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written,
     Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
     Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him;
     if he thirst, give him drink:
   for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
   Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
 
1Jo 4,20-21
   If a man say,
   I love God, and hateth his brother,
   he is a liar:
   for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen,
   how can he love God whom he hath not seen ?
   And this commandment have we from him,
   That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Mt 7,1-5
   Judge not, that ye be not judged.
   For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged:
   and with what measure ye mete,
   it shall be measured to you again.
   And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye,
   but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
   Or how wilt thou say to thy brother,
   Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye;
   and, behold, a beam [is] in thine own eye?
   Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye;
   and then shalt thou see clearly
   to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Yes - I know - this text is written for me too.
